Following her own dramatic weight loss of ninety pounds, Nikquisa has helped hundreds of people as a dynamic personal trainer.  She has also embarked on an impressive bodybuilding career.


She earned IFBB Physique Pro Card at the Master's National Bodybuilding Competition in Pittsburgh PA on July 18, 2019.   Prior to winning her IFBB Pro Card she placed highly in several figure competitions including

  • The 2019 ARNOLD AMATEUR (2nd place)

  • The 2018 NPC Phil Heath Classic (1st place) 

  • The NPC Circle City Championships (2nd place) 

  • The Ronnie Coleman Classic (4th place)

  • The Dre Dillard Classic (2nd place)

  • The Phil Heath Classic (Women's Physique Overall Winner)

In addition Nikquisa has the following related experience:


Research & Lecturing

  • Extensive research in the area of obesity and weight loss.

  • Presented research at multiple research conferences across the country in a presentation entitled Factors that Predict a Commitment to Regular Physical Exercise in Post-Bariatric Patients.  Conferences attended include:

    • National Conference on Undergraduate Research, La Crosse, WI, April 16-18, 2009.

    • Indiana University-Purdue University Research Day, Indianapolis, IN, April 24, 2009.


Training and Personal Fitness

  • Through a PT certification training program and a dedication to a complete lifestyle change, lost more than 90 pounds and began regularly placing at fitness competitions within a 4-year span of time.

  • Partnered with other individuals to assist them in reaching their own personal goals.

  • Extensive mentoring and coaching in areas of exercise, diet, and healthy lifestyle choices.

  • Ability to apply a decade of real-world business knowledge and skills to the health and fitness arena; consistently use management, communication, and analytical problem solving skills to assess the fitness goals of myself and others, and implement a plan of action for achieving them.

"The sport of bodybuilding has provided an outlet for me to stay consistent with with my workouts and healthy eating habits.  It’s also provided a family full of other people with whom I can stay connected and even cheer on! 


It's important to remember: in bodybuilding one doesn’t necessarily have to compare him/herself to other people.  You can do as much or as little as you please.  It all depends on your reasons for participating.  Personally, my motivation lies in challenging me to be my best self while inspiring others."
